Cookie Policy

Last updated: February 2026

This page explains how this client intake form uses cookies and browser storage. We keep this minimal. We are not an advertising platform, we do not track you across the web, and we do not sell or share browsing data with anyone.

What are cookies

Cookies are small pieces of data stored in your browser by a website you visit. Some are essential for a site to function, and some are used to remember your preferences.

What we store and why

The table below covers everything the form stores in your browser.

Name Type Purpose Expires
user-theme Local storage Remembers your preferred color theme so it is applied on every visit. Until you clear browser data
brand-intake-draft Local storage Auto-saves your form answers as you type so you do not lose progress. Until submission or manual clear
preferred-language Local storage Saves your language selection so the form loads in the right language on your next visit. Until you clear browser data

None of these items are used for tracking, analytics, or advertising.

Third-party services

Our form uses a small number of external resources to function properly:

  • Google Fonts loads the typefaces used in the form design. When your browser requests a font, Google may log your IP address as part of the standard web request. We do not control this.
  • Netlify hosts the site and handles all form requests at the server level. Netlify does not place cookies in your browser, but it processes your requests and IP address as a normal part of internet routing.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile is a security verification service that runs when you submit the form. It may send your IP address to Cloudflare to confirm you are not a bot. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details on how they handle that data.
  • Resend is used to send the confirmation email and secure edit link after you submit. It processes your email address for delivery only and does not place any cookies in your browser.

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other advertising or behavioral tracking tool.

IP address processing on submission

When you submit the form, our server temporarily reads your IP address for two strictly limited purposes: (1) to apply rate limiting to prevent abusive submissions — this data is held in memory only during a short rolling window and is never written to the database; (2) to infer your country of origin via network headers provided by our infrastructure (Netlify or Cloudflare). Only the resulting country name (e.g. "United Kingdom (GB)") is stored with your submission — your IP address itself is never permanently stored.

How to clear or disable storage

You are in full control of what gets stored in your browser. You can clear any of the items listed above at any time by going to your browser's settings and clearing site data for this domain.

The form itself also includes a Clear Draft button that removes the saved draft from your browser without affecting any other stored preferences.

We do not use advertising cookies

We want to be clear about this. No advertising network tracks visits to this form. No retargeting pixel fires when you load this page. The data you share here stays here, used only to work on your project with you.

Changes to this policy

If we ever add new storage items or third-party services, we will update this page and the date at the top.
